Spaghetti and Meatballs With Tomato Sauce
INGREDIENTS
  • Spaghetti boiled in salt water and cooked al dente – 200gm
  • Olive Oil – 1tbsp
  • Minced Chicken – 100/150gm
  • Onion finely chopped – ½ cup
  • Egg beaten and lightly whisked – 1medium
  • Dabur Hommade Ginger Garlic Paste – 1tbsp
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Cooking Oil to fry
Method of Preparation
  • Keep aside the boiled and cooked spaghetti after rinsing it in cold water and coating it in a little olive oil to avoid sticking.
  • To make the meatballs, mix the minced chicken, finely chopped onion, beaten egg, ginger-garlic paste, salt and pepper thoroughly in a mixing bowl till soft and pliable.
  • Make about 10 or 12 meatballs and keep aside on a plate.
  • Heat required quantity of cooking oil in a fry pan and shallow fry the meatballs till firm, well browned on the outside and cooked right through. Drain the oil on kitchen towels or drainer and keep the meatballs ready.
For Tomato Peanut Sauce Ingredients
  • Dabur Hommade Tomato Puree – 1 pack
  • Peanuts roasted and crushed to a coarse powder – ¾ cup
  • Red Chillis whole or deseeded (if less spicy desired) – 4 or 5
  • Onion finely chopped – ½ cup
  • Dabur Hommade Garlic Paste – 1tbsp
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Fresh Cream – ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil – ¼ cup
  • Parsley or Coriander chopped for seasoning
Method of preparation
  • In a saucepan, add olive oil and heat it. Add onions and garlic paste and fry it well till aromatic.
  • Crush or flake the red chillis in it and fry it for another minute.
  • Add Dabur Hommade Tomato Puree and bring to boil. Reduce heat and add salt.
  • Put the crushed peanuts, add water and cook the mixture covered for about 10 minutes.
  • When the gravy thickens and the oil shows up, add the cream and simmer for another 5 minutes. Check for taste and consistency of sauce.
  • Add the meatballs to the sauce and mix gently till the meatballs are covered with the sauce.
  • Boil for about 3-4min till the sauce comes together well.
  • Divide the spaghetti in two halves. Put half of the tomato peanut sauce and meatballs in one half and the rest of the sauce and meat balls in other. Toss it a little.
