Amazing Appetizer Potato Mushroom Fry Recipe

Mushroom Potato Fry
    This amazing appetizer made with potato and mushroom is sure to make you hungrier. The zesty tamarind dip will make this tasty appetizer more tangy and yummy.
INGREDIENTS
  • Potatoes 4 nos
  • Sago rice powder 2 tbsp
  • Button mushroom 10-15
  • Chopped green chillies 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp
  • Dabur Hommade Ginger Paste 1 tsp
  • Dabur Hommade Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Dhania powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt-to taste
    Method of preparation
  • Marinate small button mushrooms with Dabur Hommade Ginger and Dabur Hommade Garlic pastes. Mix salt, chilli powder, corn flour and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Boil potatoes, remove skin and smash in a bowl. Put sago rice powder in a bowl, add 1/4 cup water and keep it for 5 minutes.
  • In another bowl put smashed potatoes, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, garam masala, salt to taste, dhania powder and Dabur Hommade Ginger and Garlic Paste and soaked sago rice powder and mix it well.
  • Take lemon sized potato mix, flatten it on your plam, stuff marinated mushroom and make balls.
  • Heat oil in the pan, put potato balls in the oil, fry till the balls become gold brown colour (fry on a very slow flame). Remove from oil and cut in the middle so that you see mushrooms in the middle.
    Zesty Tamarind Dip INGREDIENT
  • Dabur Hommade Tamarind Paste 1-5 tsp
  • Sugar 3 tsp
  • Raisins 4 tbsp
  • Peanuts 1 tbsp
  • Saunf 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Mustard ½ tsp
  • Chopped curry leaves
  • Corriander leaves 1 tsp
  • Ghee for seasoning 1 tbsp
  • Black salt to taste
    Method of preparation
  • Dry roast peanut and Saunf
  • Put Dabur Hommade Tamarind Paste, sugar, black salt, half raisins (keep half raisins for seasoning) roasted peanut and saunf, red chilli powder, pepper powder and little water in mixie to a nice smooth paste. Put the paste in a bowl.
  • Heat ghee, put mustard seeds then add raisins. Put it on tamarind dip.
    Serving suggestion
  • Sprinkle chaat masala and serve the potato mushroom balls with zesty Tamarind dip. You can also serve it with salads to make it tastier and healthier.
